sisterhood sketchbook...

This week's been too hot to do too much. I did finish my pages in Jaime's sketchbook. They're so much fun to get in the mail each month, especially as they get fuller and fuller... I won't show all the art in it before me but here's Jaime's first spread to introduce herself....

So cool!
and next Brandy from artbrat.blogspot did May's page and Lisa from Pritistudio.blogspot did a pull out section for June....Both are awsome (although I don't think my photos of them do them justice) and wonderful to look over before starting on my spread for July!

This month I didn'd do a spread of art and a spread to explain it as usual, I did 2 spreads full of watercolor words of what I think about when I think about July, with a falling lady thrown in just because!...

Happy paint party friday and creative friday  and crafty friday to everyone! Oh wait, I should add some of Brandy's needlefelting as I didn't do any again.... she's won another treasury challenge and is using this cool brooch...
and she also made this very cool breakfast play set of felt!
Happy fiberarts friday too!

  8. These travelling sketchbooks are so good! I love your pages - did you use watercolour pens to write the words as they look so neat and I know I could never create that with a brush!!

  20. No, I didn't use a watercolor pen, didn't even know they had such a thing, I use a small bruch for the words, well actually for the whole thing. I only have one brush I use for all of my paintings.

Spinster Beth... I'm sorry I don't know what that was from as that page was from PritiStudio (by Lisa).
